Get ready for a busy week ahead of us! As you all know, the first quarter is already almost over! Where does the time go?? So far, it has been wonderful teaching all of your awesome children. This week we have a lot going on. Here is a list of all that is happening:
- We will be conducting CBM Testing once again this week. Please make sure your child gets all the necessary rest needed and lots of positive encouragement!
- This week is also the last week of the quarter in terms of getting assignments in for report cards. Your child will be working on an missed or incomplete assignments in class if necessary. If you have any questions about any missing assignments, please let me know.
- Wed., Oct. 6th is Dollar Dress Down Day! Please bring your dollar and dress down. Help raise money for your class!
- 40th DAY IS THURSDAY (Oct. 7th)!!! Please make sure that your child attends school this day! It's very important for our class to have 100% attendance this day! Our class will be allowed to wear their pajamas, as our class is making it "Pajama Day." We have lots of fun activities planned such as an afternoon movie with the other 4th grade classes and a popcorn party sponsored by PIO.
- Fri., Oct. 8th is Title 1 testing. We will be testing our Math standards which are telling time to the minute and identifying shapes given a description. Our Language Arts standards tested will be identifying fact and opinion, as well as understanding the main idea of an expository text.
